LETZGOGOLD
LËTZ GO GOLD is a charity run organized by the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, taking place on Saturday morning, September 28, 2024. Each participant is required to raise a minimum of €200 (€100 for minors and students under 25) to fund pediatric cancer research. The funds will help find new cures, improve existing treatments, and better understand the causes of pediatric cancers.
100% of the donations collected will be allocated to research projects selected by Fight Kids Cancer, thanks to sponsoring partners who cover the event’s costs. The event features a 5 or 10 km run/walk, with a 1.5 km circuit accessible to strollers and all-terrain wheelchairs.
The Rotaract Club Luxembourg has successfully broken records by raising €1,000 in just a few days. Furthermore, the Rotary Club Hearts Luxembourg organized a charity gala dinner to support this noble cause. The Rotaract Club collaborated by sending volunteers to assist in the fundraising efforts organized by the Rotary Club. In total, this joint action and cooperation between the Rotary Club Hearts Luxembourg and the Rotaract Club Luxembourg has allowed for the impressive sum of €36,000 to be raised, which will be entirely donated to research for the fight against pediatric cancer.
