Would your hair be my hair
For the fourth time this year, “Would your hair be my hair?” We are carrying out the project. It is a project where we provide natural wigs to children who are in the advanced stages of cancer treatment or have completed their treatment. In the project, we source the hair from among the rotators or from people around us. This is achieved by people with hair of appropriate length (20 cm) having their hair cut and delivered to us. Our hairdresser, who lost his child to cancer, transforms these hair into wigs and we deliver them to eligible children with the help of expert pedagogues in Rotaract and Rotary. When our children’s hair reaches the length they want, we retake the wigs from the children. We take care of the wigs with our hairdresser and then deliver the wigs to our new children.
