Peter Neuner is a member of Rotary Freistadt (D1920) and has accepted multiple Paul Harris Fellow awards. Peter Neuner s a gynecologist by profession and has written many academic papers and publications including but not limited to “Reducing Maternal Mortality” and “Obstetric Fistula Treatment and Prevention Project”.
For many years, Peter Neuner is active within the Rotarian Action Group for Reproductive Maternal and Child health (RMCH). His main action field is now Nigeria, where he is fighting against child mortality and maternal death.
Dr. Neuner was born in Linz, Austria. He studied medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna and obtained his qualification as Doctor of Medicine in 1982. He did his clinical education at the State Hospital in Rohrbach from 1982-1983, followed by Medical eduction to become Medical Consultant for Gynecology and Obstetrics in the Hospital of the Religious Order of the Sisters of Mercy and the Hospital of St. John of God in Linz with special focus in oncology, endometriosis, and gynecological urology.

Holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Economics with distinction from the Lebanese American University. He also holds a certificate degree in “NGO Management” from The School of Oriental And African Studies – University of London. He worked at the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office, then at Chemonics and Development Transformations before consulting with many INGOs and UN agencies. Founder of SHIFT NGO in Tripoli since 2015.
Joined the Rotaract Club of Tripoli El Mina in 2004 and served on different roles including the president of the club in 2006/07 leading the clubs of the north on the July war relief response. Vice District Rotaract Representative 07/08 coordinating between the 15 Lebanese and later District 2450 Rotaract Representative 2011/12 leading 85 clubs in 10 countries. Among other tasks, was responsible for the organization of the 35th District conference hosting over 300 participants from around 20 countries. Was appointed by RI president Ron Burton as a Rotaract Representative on the International Rotaract Interact Committee in 2013/14.
Bilal is one of the founders of the Rotaract Mediterranean MDIO and the Rotaract Academy which were both launched during his DRR year.
Marwa Abou Dayya is a founding partner, consultant, and enabler of the Design and Business Development Unit at Beyond Group and will facilitate our workshop at the MDIOs Peace Conference.
Marwa catalyzes initiatives for public management and policy research in sectors related to women and youth empowerment, social entrepreneurship and innovation, education, and local governance at both local and national levels. She has over a decade of experience in designing strategic plans and leading organizational development and change management processes for public institutions, local government bodies, and international organizations.
With more than 10 years of expertise in developing capacity-building programs and learning modules for public institutions, international organizations, civil society entities, and academic institutions, Marwa is recognized for her design and facilitation skills pertaining to experiential learning programs that support these institutions in achieving their aspired impact.
She has extensive experience working with donors and international organizations as an advocacy expert to build the capacities of civil society organizations and local communities to develop campaigns, networks, and stakeholder engagement activities advocating for meaningful change.
