What measures does E.R.I.C. take to ensure safety during official events?
Safety is E.R.I.C.’s top priority. To ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants, we adhere to the following measures:
- E.R.I.C. Events Code of Conduct: All events operate under an official code of conduct designed to promote inclusivity, respect, and positive engagement.
- Harassment Prevention Policy: We have a strict harassment prevention policy in place to protect participants from any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.
- Reporting Mechanism: Participants are encouraged to use our Harassment Report Form, available at each event, to report any incidents they experience or witness. This form ensures a direct and discreet way to raise concerns. Every report is taken seriously and dealt with on an individual basis. The E.R.I.C. Board reviews each case thoroughly, ensuring proper actions are taken to resolve the matter and prevent future occurrences.
These measures reflect our commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone at E.R.I.C. events. If you have any questions or need assistance during an event, reach out to an E.R.I.C. Board member, or send an email to board@rotaracteurope.eu .

Are there official documents or general guidelines for establishing a twinning agreement?
Twin clubs, or sister clubs, are two clubs from different countries that form a long-term relationship to promote international understanding and goodwill and carry out service projects in their communities. When looking for a partner, consider clubs that:
- Share similar interests, challenges, or history.
- You’ve worked with in the past.
- Are located in a place that matches your club’s service interests.
- Speak a common language.
Browse projects seeking resources and consider partnering on a service project as a first step toward establishing a twin club relationship.
In order for twinning to be recognized, the two twin clubs have to sign the official twinning certificate and submit it to Rotary International in Switzerland.
What is E.R.I.C.’s commitment to environmental sustainability?
E.R.I.C. is deeply committed to promoting sustainability and integrating environmentally conscious practices into all its activities and events. To achieve this, E.R.I.C. has established key initiatives and collaborations:
- Partnership with ESRAG: E.R.I.C. collaborates with the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) to advance sustainable practices within the Rotaract and Rotary communities.
- Become Sustainable! Every Club Climate Friendly: E.R.I.C. has joined the Become Sustainable project, with the goal of making every European Rotaract club climate-friendly and sustainable. If your club is interested in joining the initiative, you can find additional information HERE.
- Sustainable Event Checklist: E.R.I.C. has developed and published a Sustainable Event Checklist to guide event organizers. Each Host Organizing Committee (HOC) is required to review and complete this checklist when planning official E.R.I.C. events. This ensures that sustainability remains a central focus throughout event preparation and execution. Clubs can refer to this checklist when organizing local events to incorporate sustainable practices.
Through these initiatives, E.R.I.C. reinforces its commitment to environmental stewardship and encourages all members and event organizers to prioritize sustainability in their activities.
