Following the historical structure of the United Nations mechanism and its procedures, Rotaract International Model United Nations aims to bring young people’s solutions to global problems on the UN desk. To achieve this dream, Rotaract Global Model United Nations promotes excellence in education, professionalism in organization and integrity in performance. Model United Nations conferences or short MUNs are academic conferences where participants (who during the event are called county representatives and/or delegates) – students, youth workers and/or leaders and young professionals from across the world, assume the role of representing a country and debate in formal sessions current political, social and economic issues.
