E.R.I.C. Awards 2026–2027

What are the E.R.I.C. Awards?

The E.R.I.C. Awards recognize the most impactful Rotaract social projects in Europe. They aim to encourage innovation, sustainability, and community impact across Rotaract clubs and districts.

Winners receive financial support to further develop their projects or to create new impactful initiatives.

Prizes

Three places for each category.

1st place
€200
2nd place
€150
3rd place
€100

Three winners are selected in each of the Twin Club Awards, Best European Service Project, and Rotary & Rotaract Collaboration categories. All winners receive official E.R.I.C. trophies at the Gala of EUCO Napoli, along with certificates provided both on-site and digitally after the event.

E.R.I.C. Recognition Awards

Special distinctions beyond the top three.

The E.R.I.C. Recognition Awards are special distinctions introduced by E.R.I.C. to acknowledge outstanding projects, clubs, or districts that demonstrate exceptional impact, innovation, creativity, sustainability, or meaningful engagement within the Rotaract community.

In addition to the main award categories, E.R.I.C. may grant these special recognitions to applications that stand out for their unique contribution and overall excellence — including initiatives that may not rank among the top three but are considered particularly deserving of recognition.

Selected recipients receive a dedicated E.R.I.C. Recognition Award, offering additional visibility and acknowledgement across E.R.I.C. and relevant Rotary International platforms.

Q&A — Conditions of Participation

Quick answers to the most common eligibility questions.

When must the project have taken place?
The project must have been organized during the current or the previous Rotarian year(s).
Can we apply with a project that is still ongoing?
No. The project must be fully completed at the time of application.
How many projects can a club submit?
One club may submit one project in each category.
Can we submit the same project for multiple awards?
No. It is not possible to apply with the same project for multiple awards.
If a club already won an ERIC Award, can they apply again?
Yes — but not with the same project right away. Clubs that have won an E.R.I.C. Award must wait at least 5 years to re-apply with the same project. However, they can apply again at any time with a different project.
Who selects the winners, and can we object to a jury member?
Jury members will be announced on January 8, 2027. A 7-day objection period follows: objections can be submitted until January 15, 2027 — 23:59 CET and must be sent to both social@rotaracteurope.eu and board@rotaracteurope.eu.
Does our twin club need to be an E.R.I.C. member?
The applicant club must be a member of E.R.I.C., but the twin club(s) do not need to be. The monetary prize is awarded only to E.R.I.C. member club(s), and where several are involved it is divided equally among them. See the Twin Club additional requirements for the certificate and Mega Twin Club details.
