Bad Aussee 11.-13.8.2017

They say preparation is everything and this summer we made sure we are prepared! Rotaract can be tough at times, especially when you work in a districts board that support two districts at once. Therefore, having a reliable team, good communication and a common goal is the basis for a successful year.

This year the newly elected board team met in the beautiful town of Bad Aussee, which is coincidently also the center auf Austria. The location provided us with a great seminar hotel, as well as beautiful sights for good hikes! In a three-day seminar, we discussed basics such as: What is our individual motivation for this year? What do we want to achieve and what do we need to do? How and when will we (Rotar)act?

During these three days 12 people went through the known steps of storming, norming and performing. At the end of the last day we couldn’t believe how much we actually discussed and planned. In these three days, we also got to know each other a lot better, which under normal circumstance wouldn’t happen that well, because we reside in different parts of the district.

We are confident, that our preparations will pay off and hope that this year will be as successful as the year before!

See you soon at a country booth near you!

Yours,

Rotaract Multi-District Board 1910/1920
