Warsaw Rotaract Club continues their cooperation with hotels and helps them engage in supporting local communities. This time, we have teamed up with the Holiday Inn Warsaw City Centre Hotel that had held an inhouse collection of clothes to be donated to the local communities in need. Our Club was responsible for logistics and the overall supervision over the action and we are happy to report it all went very smoothly! The hotel managed to collect a lot of clothes. “I am glad I drove alone to pick up the garments because there would be not enough space for a passenger!” laughs Rafał Tondera, the President of the Club. We worked together with local volunteer workers who helped us determine which families were in the greatest need. Having gathered all the necessary information, we were able to distribute the garments. Thanks to this action we managed not only to hone our planning skills and tighten our bond as a team, but also learn about the needs of our communities – and most importantly, we were able to get in touch with them.
