BeBaltic is a project uniting Rotaract clubs located on the shores of Baltic sea with the aim of raising awareness on the eco-condition of the respective Baltic shorelines and contribute to the improvement of the environment around the whole area by making it greener, cleaner and smarter. Each Rotaract club will make their own sub-projects within the project framework.
Since the start of the project Rotaract Club Saint-Petersburg initiated several long-term sub-projects: -educating master-classes for the school kids on ecology and environmental responsibility. -tree planting in forests, city parks and kids hospice yard. The number of the planted trees totaled to over 290 units. -cleaning sea shores and a lake coast. Up-to-date the club has collected around 130 kilos of trash which was was further dispatched for recycling.
