First Conference for Rotaractors on Peace and Mediterranean Sea

1-8 April 2017, Brussels’ Area, BELGIUM

Rotaracting for Peace!

What and who ?
The Belgian Rotary Districts 1620, 1630 and 2170 organise the first conference on Peace and Mediterranean Sea region for young Rotaractors from all Mediterranean countries proving knowledge and interest on the topic.

Each candidate should be sponsored by a Rotary Club or District. In principle, only one candidate from each country will be selected by our selection committee to participate. Young professionals’ applications may also be considered by the Selecting Committee if sponsored.

When and where?

Brussels’ area, from the 1st to 8th of April, 2017.

Why?

Many events have been altering the stability in the region in the last years and originated conflicts. Rotary is a catalyst of peace values and wishes to create an occasion for Rotaractors interested in International Relations and Diplomacy to discuss about Peace in the Mediterranean Sea.
This first active training event aims to provide peace values building related skills and networking. We wish to launch a future tradition on Peace related training meetings on periodical basis.

How?

Candidates should fill in the attached Application Form and send it with a CV, a motivation letter and the declaration of the sponsoring Rotary District/Club.

Selected candidates will be notified by the Selection Committee

There will be days of courses and days of visits in Belgium.
